Every lesson introduces new keys, practices them alone, mixes them with keys learned earlier, and then uses them in real words. The on-screen keyboard highlights each key and shows which finger to use. New to typing? Read how to learn to type or start with the home row keys.

Yes, all 60 typing lessons are free with no account.

How many typing lessons does it take to learn to type?

Kids learn every letter by Lesson 21. Lessons 22–60 add capitals, numbers, punctuation, symbols, letter combos, paragraphs and full sentences.

How long is each lesson?

Most lessons take 1–3 minutes. Kids can replay any lesson to earn more stars.
